I’ve been looking forward to this particular post all week, as this is my first Promotional Friday post, where I beg all of you to spam the crap out of me with all sorts of cool things that you’re doing or that you’re reading or whatever else you’d like to promote. Seriously. I can’t guarantee I’ll be able to get to everything, but, please, share whatever you’ve been itching to share lately with me and everyone else who is awesome enough to be reading my blog.

(This is also being posted stupid early for me because I have a random stupid early shift today, but that just means I’ll hopefully have lots of cool things to check out when I get home!)

Naturally, the thing I’d really like to promote this week is World Unknown Review Volume I, my recently published literary review. Seriously, for only 99 cents (or just over eight bucks for the print version), you get yourself 11 short stories from a lot of really spectacular writers and a novella from a pretty okay writer (me). Treat yourself to some really neat tales…and whip something up to submit for Volume II. Sure, you have until Halloween this year, but that’ll probably be here before you know it!

So, yes, if you follow this blog, obviously, you’ve seen me promoting WUR plenty already…so what else have you got for us? What have you been working on, or what do you think is worth everyone’s glances and ganders this week?

Don’t call yourself an “okay” writer. Yours was one of the best stories in the WUR.

Well, I have a couple of projects under another pen name, but I can’t pimp that under this name. LOL

What I would really like to promote is my last release, Fire Wizard. You know, I’m in some FB groups where we’re supposed to promote ourselves, and I can’t bring myself to do it. We get pounded in our head “Don’t promote yourself, let others do it”. But you know what? That’s what you’re asking for, right?   I’ve been meaning to get around to picking up Fire Wizard, so consider it done! I’ll make it my next Kindle read after Luther Siler’s Skylights, which means probably starting in on it sometime next week.
  
  And I’m curious about the pen name projects! Perhaps when they’re near completion, you can shoot me an email and I’ll promote them for you! Although, man, that seems a little backwards, “don’t promote yourself, let others do it.” How do you get other people to promote you if you haven’t promoted yourself first? If I depended on other people to promote my work, I would never get anything sold (…not that I’m selling a ton as it is, but I shudder to think of it).
  
  And, shhh. Let me pretend to have some false modesty here. 🙂

    The promo thing is so hard. You have to be careful promoting on social media. I just found a FB page recently where they want you to promote yourself. You post on the page, which puts in on the left side. Then the owner of the page shares it on the actual timeline so it shows up there. It’s called Little Book Corner. It was SO hard to make myself post on there, even though that’s what you’re supposed to do. LOL. Thanks again for letting us promote ourselves on your blog on Fridays!

      I might have to check out this Little Book Corner! It sounds pretty useful. Community is a big thing I want to work on this year, and I figured having a place for everyone to toss around things they’re working on, or things they’ve really enjoyed or thought were worth sharing is a great idea. Plus, I like seeing what everyone’s doing, too, and this is a good lazy-man’s solution, lol

I’m still pushing SKYLIGHTS,, my near-future Mars exploration novel. It’s out in print for $12.95 and ebook for $4.95. Pretty soon I’ll start ramping up for the new BENEVOLENCE ARCHIVES book (the same one you’ll have in your hands this weekend, alpha-buddy!) but I’m not quite there yet.
