Hello, again, blog on my website.

I’ve done the whole “brush the dust off and start again” rigmarole here before, and so I’d like to avoid a sweeping general place post like that again, but you’ve got to start somewhere when you start something up again, so here we all.

Also, I may have a three-hour block of time that was supposed to be spent typing up drafts, but I left the drafts at home, so I figured I’d just type something up for the website instead. I’ve been meaning to do it, haven’t gotten around to it, so clearly, fate was directing me this way.

The problem is that sometimes it feels like I either don’t know what to write here or don’t have time to write about what I’d like to, so I need to carve out that space. Lately, with the world being the way it is (or, let’s be honest, with this goddamn country kicking it into high-gear with shittiness), I’ve been trying to be better about that. Being mindful of the things that I want to do and making time for them and not wasting time on the things that make me stressed out or hurt or just don’t matter as much.

So I guess this is a *brush off the dust* post after all. But I’m hoping to get back to posting more work here again, more art, more posts, more reviews, more thoughts. Etc etc etc. But we have to begin somewhere, and this ramble is sort of that first step toward turning this back into the place it was ten years ago, and hopefully retracing my steps back to the path of success I had been traveling on back then.
